Empowering Women Together

Our Mission

EmPowerMe Bermuda is a free, peer-led, trauma-informed support group dedicated to empowering women through shared experience, guided healing, and personal development. We provide a safe, nurturing space that fosters resilience, emotional well-being, and self-discovery by offering advanced life skills, self-care practices, and mindset tools.
Our mission is to reduce isolation, strengthen connection, and support each woman in reclaiming her identity, voice, and power, while actively working to disrupt patterns of generational trauma and create lasting change for families and communities.

About EmPowerMe Bermuda

Our Vision

Our Approach to Healing

Our Approach to Healing

To create a compassionate, peer-led community where women impacted by trauma and addiction are empowered to heal, grow, and thrive—transforming pain into purpose, isolation into connection, and breaking the cycle of generational trauma for future generations.

Our Approach to Healing

Our Approach to Healing

Our Approach to Healing

At EmPowerMe Bermuda, our healing framework integrates the science of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), the 16 Steps of Discovery and Empowerment, and evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).

Grounded in trauma-informed care, our programs honor each person’s unique journey, focusing on self-awareness, compassion, and community connection. Through guided reflection and peer dialogue, participants learn to challenge limiting beliefs, build resilience, and reclaim their power to heal and thrive.

Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at empowermebermuda@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

At EmPowerMe Bermuda, creating a safe and supportive environment is our top priority. We follow clear group guidelines rooted in respect, empathy, and confidentiality. While we are a peer-led support group and not a clinical service, all members agree to honor a shared commitment: what’s said in the group stays in the group.

We encourage honest sharing without judgment, and no one is ever forced to speak. Our facilitators are trained in trauma-informed practices to help ensure every woman feels heard, validated, and supported. Your story is yours alone—and you are always in control of how much you share.

Any woman who is navigating trauma, addiction, or emotional challenges and is seeking healing, connection, and empowerment is welcome. You do not need a diagnosis or referral to attend—just a willingness to show up for yourself.

We explore a range of topics related to healing, such as:

  • Adverse Childhood Experiences
  • Setting boundaries
  • Coping with triggers
  • Self-worth and empowerment
  • Recovery and relapse
  • Healing from abuse
  • Rebuilding after trauma
  • Mindset, purpose, and self-care

No. EmPowerMe is a peer support group, not clinical therapy. Our facilitators have lived experience and training in trauma-informed approaches and addiction counseling, but we are not licensed therapists. We offer support, guidance, and tools for healing in a safe, respectful community.
